Most people searching for the best ORM agency in Delhi have a specific problem: a false news report under their name, fabricated reviews against a clinic or a practice, an anonymous account posting allegations, or a forum thread an investor will find first. In Delhi, where business, the professions and political life share one city, such a problem is often read nationally from day one.
Choosing an ORM agency in Delhi: settle the method first
Settle the method before comparing names or prices, because online reputation management in India is sold in two ways. Suppression publishes and promotes new material so that the harmful result drops below Google's first page; the original stays online and stays indexed. Removal takes the content off the platform that hosts it, or out of Google's index, through the platform's grievance process, a legal notice or a court order. They are different products with different prices, timelines and end results, and many quotes do not say which one they are for.
A disclosure: RepuLex wrote this guide and is listed in it. Every firm is therefore described only by what it publishes about itself, RepuLex included. This is a comparison, not a ranking. RepuLex comes first as the reference and the rest follow alphabetically, with no scores and no verdict on any firm.
How this comparison was built
The firms are the agencies Google India showed on the first page of organic results for “best ORM agency in Delhi” on 29 September 2026, together with the national ORM firms that give Delhi as their headquarters. Directory and list pages on the same results page are not agencies and are left out, and a firm is listed only if its own website could be read.
Every entry was read from the firm's own service and pricing pages that day. Nothing comes from a third-party list, a review site or an estimate. Where a firm publishes nothing, the entry says “Not published”, and another firm's price is shown as that firm states it, with the month it was read.
An entry records what a firm says, not how well it performs: “SEO suppression” or “legal removal” is the method the firm names, not a judgement of quality. To correct an entry, write to hello@repulex.com with the page on the firm's own site that shows the change; corrections are actioned against that page.

What actually differs between them
Method is the widest gap. RepuLex is the only firm here whose stated method is legal removal, and it excludes suppression. Of the other eight, seven describe their method in terms of search results, through some mix of SEO, positive content, review management and moving negative results lower. One combines removal requests with suppression. None of the eight advertises legal removal as its method; four mention removal or legal steps in part, and four do not mention them.
Suppression works on the results page, not on the content. The page stays online and in Google's index, lower down, where anyone who scrolls or searches the platform directly can still find it. The work generally has to continue for the result to stay down, which is why it is usually sold by the month. It has a legitimate place for lawful content that cannot be removed, such as an accurate report. Where content is false or unlawful, removal deals with the content itself.
Published pricing is the second gap. Three of the nine firms publish a price: RepuLex and two others, whose published prices are both monthly starting figures. RepuLex publishes a fixed fee per URL. The other six publish none, so the first figure a buyer sees is the one quoted on a call.
The third gap is who does the legal work. Notices under an advocate's signature, suits and court appearances are the work of advocates, so an agency that offers them must say whose. Of the other eight firms, one states an in-house legal team, and for seven no legal capability is stated. RepuLex's regulated legal work is done by its partner law firm, Unified Chambers And Associates.
The legal routes in Delhi
Most removals begin with a complaint to the platform's grievance officer under the IT Rules 2021, as amended from 20 February 2026. It must be acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within seven days (Rule 3(2)(a)(i)), and defamation sits in this lane. Content showing nudity or a sexual act, morphed intimate images and impersonation of a person must come down within two hours of the affected person's complaint (Rule 3(2)(b)). A complaint about impersonation of a company is on a 36-hour clock, and a court order must be acted on within three hours (Rule 3(1)(d)). These are obligations, not outcomes: a platform may decide that content is lawful. The grievance officer's decision can be appealed to the Grievance Appellate Committee at www.gac.gov.in.
Where a platform or a publisher does not act, a legal notice under an advocate's signature sets out why the content is false or unlawful, asks for removal and puts the recipient on record. It does not compel removal, and it does not by itself take away a platform's safe harbour under s.79 of the IT Act: in Shreya Singhal v. Union of India (2015), the Supreme Court read “actual knowledge” as a court order or a government notification, not a private letter. Nor does a notice invoke the government's blocking power under s.69A, or create criminal liability. Where the recipient declines, the route is a court.
In Delhi the civil forum turns on value. Suits valued above Rs 2 crore go to the Delhi High Court on its ordinary original civil side (s.5(2), Delhi High Court Act, 1966, as amended by Act 23 of 2015); suits up to Rs 2 crore go to the competent civil court of the Delhi district courts, which sit in 11 judicial districts.
Defamation is also an offence under s.356 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (formerly IPC 499/500). It is non-cognizable, and a court takes cognizance only on a complaint by the person aggrieved (BNSS s.222(1)). In Delhi that complaint goes to a Judicial Magistrate First Class in the relevant district court; the former Chief Metropolitan, Additional Chief Metropolitan and Metropolitan Magistrate courts were redesignated by a Delhi High Court order of 1 July 2024.
None of these routes reaches lawful content. Honest criticism, a genuine review and accurate reporting stay up, and should. In V.P. Sarathi v. S. Kiruthigha (2023 LiveLaw (Mad) 263), the Madras High Court upheld the dismissal of a lawyer's defamation complaint over a client's critical Google review, observing that views on services received do not defame the provider. Removing true, lawful content by legal means is not something the law offers.
Questions to ask any Delhi ORM agency before paying
Will each URL be removed, de-indexed or pushed down? Ask for the method in writing, URL by URL. Removal takes content off the host platform; de-indexing takes it out of Google's results; suppression leaves both in place and works on ranking.
Is the fee per URL or per month, and what does it include? Get the figure in writing, covering notices, advocates' fees, court filing and platform follow-up. A monthly fee pays for continuing work; a per-URL fee is tied to a named URL.
Who signs the notice, and who goes to court? Ask for the names of the law firm and the advocate, and check the advocate's enrolment with the State Bar Council concerned.
What happens to my money if the content stays up? Get the refund terms in writing and check whether a platform's refusal counts as non-delivery. Terms that let the agency judge its own delivery do not protect you.
Which route fits each URL, and on what clock? A considered answer names the platform route, its deadline under the IT Rules and the next step if the platform declines. “Legal pressure” with no named route is not an answer.
Will you tell me if my content cannot be removed? A true report or an honest review cannot be removed by legal means, and an agency should say so and decline at the outset.
Is an NDA signed before I share the details? Ask for a non-disclosure agreement before handing over sensitive facts and documents.
What will I receive at the end, and how was it done? Ask for written confirmation for each URL, with proof of de-indexing where Google is involved, and confirm that nothing relies on fake reviews, fake accounts or unlabelled paid placements, which can leave you with a new problem.
Where RepuLex fits, and its limits
RepuLex is a legal-first online reputation management agency based in New Delhi. Its flagship is legal removal: taking false or unlawful content off its host platform, or out of Google's index, through grievance complaints, legal notices and, where needed, court orders. Around it sit executive and corporate reputation, online crisis response, negative news and de-indexing, Wikipedia and Google Knowledge Panel work, AI reputation management, digital PR and reputation monitoring. It does not offer SEO suppression, review generation or fake reviews.
RepuLex is not a law firm. It runs each matter, and the regulated legal work, meaning notices under an advocate's signature, court filings and appearances, is done by its partner law firm, Unified Chambers And Associates. An NDA is signed before a case is discussed in detail.
The fee is published: ₹99,999 per URL, ₹2,49,999 for three URLs and ₹7,49,999 for ten, covering standard-complexity removals such as platform content, blogs, directories, forums and review sites. News media, court-reported matters and legal-database listings are quoted separately from ₹1,00,000 per URL. Payment is 100% in advance, with a 100% refund for any URL not removed within the agreed timeline, including where a platform refuses; the full terms are on the pricing page.
No outcome is guaranteed. RepuLex reports 2,400+ links removed at a 97% success rate, with an average of 7 days to removal; these are historical figures, not a promise about any one URL. Where a matter is true reporting or honest opinion, RepuLex declines it rather than take the fee. If you need continuing content, social media or paid media work rather than removal of specific URLs, a full-service digital agency is the better fit.
Frequently asked questions
Which is the best ORM agency in Delhi?
It depends on what you need. If specific URLs are false or unlawful and you want them taken down, compare firms that remove content with firms that work on search rankings. RepuLex is the legal-first option among the Delhi firms compared in this guide: its stated method is removal from the host platform or from Google's index, with SEO suppression excluded; it publishes a fixed fee per URL; its regulated legal work is done by a named partner law firm, Unified Chambers And Associates; and payment in advance comes with a 100% refund for any URL not removed within the agreed timeline, including where a platform refuses. If you need continuing visibility, content or social media work instead, a digital marketing agency may suit you better. This guide does not rank the other firms.
What does an online reputation management company in Delhi charge?
Most do not publish a figure. Of the nine Delhi firms compared in this guide, three publish a price on their own website, and both prices published by firms other than RepuLex are monthly starting figures. RepuLex publishes a one-time fee of ₹99,999 per URL, ₹2,49,999 for three URLs and ₹7,49,999 for ten for standard-complexity removals, with news media and court-reported matters quoted separately from ₹1,00,000 per URL. Ask any agency for its fee in writing, with what it includes, before you commit.
Can an ORM company in Delhi remove content from Google?
Only content that the law or the platform's own rules allow to be removed. False and defamatory content, intimate images shared without consent and impersonation can be taken down by the platform that hosts them on a complaint, under deadlines in the IT Rules 2021: seven days to resolve a grievance such as defamation, two hours from the complaint for intimate images or impersonation of a person, and three hours on a court order. Once the source page is gone, Google drops it from results when it recrawls, and a court order can also direct de-indexing. Honest reviews, genuine criticism and accurate news reports are lawful and stay up, and no agency can lawfully promise otherwise.
Is RepuLex a law firm?
No. RepuLex is an online reputation management agency based in New Delhi. On its matters, the regulated legal work, meaning notices under an advocate's signature, court filings and appearances, is done by its partner law firm, Unified Chambers And Associates. RepuLex runs the matter, coordinates the platform and Google routes, and reports to the client.
Where is a defamation case filed in Delhi?
A civil suit valued above Rs 2 crore goes to the Delhi High Court on its ordinary original civil side; a suit up to Rs 2 crore goes to the competent civil court of the Delhi district courts. Criminal defamation under BNS s.356 (formerly IPC 499/500) is brought by complaint before a Judicial Magistrate First Class in the relevant Delhi district court, and a court takes cognizance only on a complaint by the person aggrieved (BNSS s.222(1)).
How long does an ORM agency in Delhi take to remove content?
It depends on the route. Under the IT Rules 2021, a platform must resolve a grievance such as defamation within seven days, remove intimate images or impersonation of a person within two hours of the complaint, deal with impersonation of a company within 36 hours of the complaint, and act on a court order within three hours. Suppression is a different product and is usually sold as a monthly engagement. RepuLex's average across past matters is 7 days to removal; it is an average, not a promise for any one URL.
