Terms of Service

Effective: March 1, 2026  ·  Governing law: Republic of India

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client") and RepuLex ("we", "us", "our"), accessible at https://www.repulex.com. By accessing this Site or engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or engage our services.

1. Services

RepuLex provides legal online reputation management (ORM) services, including but not limited to:

  • Sending formal legal notices under the IT Act 2000 and IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules 2021
  • Filing defamation complaints under IPC Sections 499 and 500 / BNS 2023
  • Initiating and conducting court proceedings for injunctions and content removal orders
  • Coordinating de-indexing requests with Google and other search engines
  • Removal of defamatory, false, and harmful content from social media, news portals, and websites
  • Emergency ORM response for time-sensitive reputational crises

All services are facilitated by legally qualified professionals. RepuLex is not a law firm but works with empanelled advocates and legal counsel across India.

2. Engagement & Scope

A formal engagement begins only upon:

  • Execution of a written engagement letter or service agreement
  • Execution of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
  • Payment of the agreed advance fee

A free consultation call or email exchange does not constitute engagement and creates no obligations on either party.

3. Fees & Payment

Single Link Removal₹99,999
Starter Shield₹1,49,999
Business Clear₹3,99,999
Corporate VaultCustom
  • All prices are exclusive of 18% GST
  • A non-refundable advance of 50% is payable at engagement; balance is due on confirmed removal
  • Emergency ORM (7-day timeline) attracts a 50% premium on the applicable tier
  • Custom pricing applies for corporate engagements, injunctions requiring court proceedings, and cross-border cases
  • Payments are accepted via NEFT, RTGS, UPI, and major debit/credit cards through secure payment gateways

4. Refund Policy

Given the legal and administrative work initiated upon engagement:

  • The advance fee (50%) is strictly non-refundable once legal proceedings or notices have been initiated
  • If we determine prior to initiating action that the case is legally non-actionable, we will refund the advance in full
  • Balance fees are only charged upon confirmed, documented removal of the identified content
  • No refunds are issued for content that is removed and subsequently re-uploaded by the original publisher — a fresh case will apply

5. No Guarantee of Outcome

While RepuLex maintains a 97% case success rate, we do not and cannot guarantee specific outcomes. The success of any legal action depends on factors including the nature of the content, the jurisdiction of the platform, the responsiveness of intermediaries, and applicable law at the time of action.

Our commitment is to pursue every legally available remedy diligently, transparently, and with full documentation provided to the client at each stage.

6. Client Obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information about the harmful content and surrounding circumstances
  • Not engage RepuLex to remove content that is factually accurate, lawfully published, or constitutes protected speech
  • Not use our services for any purpose that is unlawful, fraudulent, or intended to harass an individual
  • Maintain confidentiality of all strategy discussions, legal approaches, and documents shared by us
  • Promptly provide additional information or authorisations required during the case

All content on this Site — including text, design, code, graphics, and methodology — is the intellectual property of RepuLex and is protected under Indian copyright law. No part may be reproduced, adapted, or used commercially without prior written consent. Client-provided materials remain the property of the client.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • RepuLex shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of this Site or our services
  • Our aggregate liability in any matter shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the specific case in question
  • RepuLex is not liable for platform decisions, court outcomes, or third-party actions that are beyond our reasonable control

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to these Terms or our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration in New Delhi. The courts of New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction for any non-arbitrable matters.
